I’m so excited to start the new year with this tender newborn session. If you happened to see their maternity photos or watch their birth story, you know that little Maggie May was welcomed into an adoring family. There were lots of hugs and kisses and grins a mile wide to capture at this session. I’ve always thought it a bit cliche when I hear wedding photographers say that they got started in their profession because they “love love.” But that’s exactly what I was thinking as I walked away from this session: I love to capture love! I love meeting these babies at their birth and knowing that they are going to grow up in a home with so.much.love. In a world with plenty of tragedy and sadness, these stories I am blessed to be a part of are a sliver of beautiful hope.
