It isn’t every day that you get to take photos for a close friend of yours, especially one that goes as far back as college days. Gwyneth and I met in the music department at the University of Maryland, and we’ve been lucky to stay friends ever since. A couple of years ago she and her husband moved ten minutes away from us, which ended up coming in handy throughout her pregnancy with Madelon as we went walking together at least once a week talking about all things birth and baby. I was out of town during her birthing but I was so thrilled to be able to capture these sweet moments of Madelon snuggling with her mom and dad. Don’t they all look so happy?
