A worldwide pandemic changes everything, and yet babies are still being born and beautiful families still need photos! I was so sad when hospitals in the Northern Virginia area began restricting visitors, knowing that I would miss the birth of my dear returning client Jessica, now pregnant with baby boy #2. I am so grateful for beautiful weather and the ability to shoot “socially distant” outdoor sessions in deserted parts of the Manassas Battlefield near my home. It doesn’t make up for missing births, but beautiful images were still captured!
I photographed Eric and Jessica’s small farm wedding back in 2017 and the birth of their son Malachi a few months later. Despite COVID, having to miss this sweet baby’s birth, I was overjoyed to capture these beautiful maternity images for them.
