As you may have picked up, in the last few weeks I’ve acquired a medium-format film camera (Contax 645) and have been experimenting with film. My friend Leeann agreed to model for me for a practice film session, and while I am ever more aware of how much I have to learn, I am thrilled with the results. The depth and gentleness of film amazes me. Every photo below is film except for the two of her spinning – try as I might I could not lock the manual focus on a fast moving subject.
Happy due date, mama! I know that so very soon you will be holding your little one in your arms – I can’t wait to meet him/her! I know your baby is going to be just as beautiful as you are. You simply radiate love and happiness.

I love it! You did a great job – I think I’d have some fun with going back to film but it’s been so long! lol. Adore these – she is gorgeous!
