I am always honored when a mama comes to me with a story of not having very many photos from her first birth. There’s something about going through the birth experience and having very little to look back on that deeply impresses upon you the value of capturing these transitory moments. That was the story Amber, a doula and Bradley childbirth instructor, told when she contacted me near the beginning of her second pregnancy.

I loved meeting up with Amber and her beautiful family. The evening was hot beyond belief, but it didn’t keep us from having fun. Love, smiles, kisses, and a baby belly – what could be better? I am SO excited about telling the story of Amber’s homebirth in just a couple of weeks.
