I love photographing newborns outdoors. It is rare that a mom feels good enough for an outing shortly after birth, so I do most of my newborn sessions in-home. So I was thrilled when, just one week after giving birth, Amber was up for beginning their session in their home and then driving to Jones Point Park in Alexandria. This is probably my favorite newborn session to date. I have absolutely adored getting to know this lovely family from belly, to birth, to baby. I’m kind of sad that this part of their journey is done! Congratulations, Jason and Amber, on your absolutely beautiful son – what a perfect addition to your beautiful family!
