As I finish up this sweet family’s birth film, I thought it fitting that I share my favorites from their maternity session, from way back in March! Spring had bloomed – or so we thought – so we arranged to meet at the Smithsonian Gardens, which according to Instagram were in full bloom. When we got there it was 20 degrees and the magnolias were no longer – but the light was gorgeous and Kumiko and Ed’s love was so warm that I didn’t even notice the cold. I absolutely adore this family and I think you can see why in these photos – the love, the joy, the anticipation of their little girl coming soon.
