welcome

So, I really hate writing a first blog post on a new blog. I always feel like I should tell my life story somehow….all my journals start that way – “this is who I am, this is my life story.” I always figured that if my journals got “found” after I died, people would need the background. A little narcissistic, I know – but I think that’s a prerequisite for being a blogger, so. There ya go.

Anyway, welcome to my new blog. Maybe you followed me at my old blog – Live With Desire. If you did, you’ve noticed I haven’t blogged in a long while. I think I outgrew that blog. I needed something new. Thanks to the ever fabulous Kelly Sauer, I finally have a place that feels like me. I’m also phasing out my photography blog, I’m thinking I’ll keep things in one place for awhile…feeling the need to be more integrated lately. It’s a time of new beginnings, I think. But more about that later. I just wanted to say “hi” and “welcome” and “I hope you leave lots of comments because comments make me happy and everyone likes a happy blogger.”
