Yesterday afternoon Mike and I braved the brisk November air to meet up with Matt and Jennie, a soldier and his girl, for some fun, laughter, and OH! – engagement photos. I’ve known Jennie for years – I don’t even remember how we met exactly – so when she contacted me about photographing her wedding next April, I was thrilled. I could only assume her fiance was as fun-loving and down-to-earth as she is, and I was right. We found the light, made funny faces, tried not to fall in the pond at Constitution Gardens in D.C., and laughed. A lot. Matt and Jennie – I am so excited about photographing your big day. If it’s half as much fun as yesterday was, I know it’s going to be great! (And can I say AGAIN how easy you two are to photograph? Sheesh, you make my job easy!)
