These two lovers met under the most unlikely circumstances – Rachel accompanied a friend on her friend’s date with Aaron…her friend’s way of saying “I’m not really interested.” Because her friend didn’t like Aaron (at least in that way), Rachel didn’t either. And Aaron…well…he saw Rachel as cramping his style.
But as fate would have it, they saw each other again shortly after, and realized they had much in common. Now, they share their weekends playing softball and are looking forward to their wedding later this summer. Funny how life brings us together!
Mike and I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron and Rachel’s love in the midst of DC’s Cherry Blossoms – on the day of the Cherry Blossom Festival, no less. You’d never guess from looking at these photos that we had to contend with crowds of people. But it all worked out – even finding parking – and the dewy light was on our side.
