Lia’s absolutely beautiful newborn session was a perfect example of why I shoot “lifestyle” and not “posed” newborn sessions – this girl knew what she wanted and she did NOT want to be put down! It’s a good thing that my absolute favorite thing to capture is the connection a new mom and dad have with their baby – a connection that is most perfectly captured in-arms. Geoffrey and Lauren are a stylish DC couple and they clearly adore their new addition. Her nursery was full of light and love, and the courtyard in their condo was a perfect place for some fresh air and outdoor shots. Â This was one of my absolute favorite newborn sessions I’ve ever done and I only stopped shooting when I ran out of film (I NEVER run out of film!)
That is a gorgeous baby and beautiful family! The pictures and the adoration and love they capture are just wonderful.
